Copies of death certificate are available digitally beginning in 1910 until 50 years before the current year. Years are added to the database as the records become public.

St. Louis Marriage Records
St. Louis City became independent from St. Louis County in 1876. Marriages prior to the division are included in the records for St. Louis City. Marriage records and indexes have been digitized and are available on FamilySearch.
St. Louis City, 1806-1966 (and St. Louis County to 1880)
- Locate the male or female index. They are grouped alphabetically by years.
- Look for the name, either by groom (male index) or bride (female index)
- Note the license number and date.
- Locate the Family History Library microfilm corresponding to the license year.
St. Louis County, 1880-1980
- Use the alphabetical index to locate the marriage information.
- Note the book and page Number.
- Locate the corresponding book in FamilySearch (FamilySearch calls them volumes).
