Make an Appointment

Current patients and those who have been here within the last three years can log in to our secure, personalized website, MyChart, to request an appointment. They can also send messages to their care teams, view their health records and manage payments through the site.

Patients who have clinic follow-up visits with their provider may be eligible for a video visit depending on where they live.

Patients returning to MD Anderson after more than three years away should call 1-877-632-6789 to speak with a health information specialist.

Request and Share Diagnostic Images Securely

You can request and send diagnostic images to your MD Anderson provider for review through the Life Image patient website. You also will find this link in the Resources section of MyChart. Use this website to:

Set up an account

  1. Complete the registration screen. Enter your name and email address. Create a password.
  2. Click Sign Up at the bottom of the form.
  3. You will be sent a confirmation email. Check your email. Click the link in the email to complete the registration process.
  4. You will be redirected to the Life Image website to log in.

Who should I call with questions regarding my insurance?

Call the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card. If you are having trouble connecting with your insurance plan, you can contact the Financial Clearance Center for assistance. Their main number is 713-792-4322.

My insurance is changing. What do I need to do?

If you have a MyChart account, please upload your new insurance information online. If you are unable to use MyChart, you can contact the Financial Clearance Center directly. Their main number is 713-792-4322.

Who should I call with questions about my bill?

You may call Customer Service & Billing directly at 800-527-2318. Their office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time.

To send a message online to Customer Service and Billing, go to MyChart to log in. Next:

If you are a Texas resident, you might qualify for financial assistance through MD Anderson. In many cases, patients need to have applied for Texas Medicaid and been denied before qualifying.

You can view the eligibility criteria and the forms for financial assistance on our website.

Discharge instructions can be obtained through Case Management. Their direct number is 713-745-2850.

MD Anderson offers diagnostic services in our Texas Medical Center and other community-based locations. Diagnostic imaging clinics offer blood draws and preventative screening. A sub-specialized radiologist with expertise on advanced imaging techniques is available at each location.

How can I request someone to serve as my advocate?

At registration, every patient is assigned a patient advocate who serves as a liaison between the patient and MD Anderson. Patient advocates provide an opportunity in a confidential setting to voice a complaint, concern or problem, or to seek a resolution. They also provide information about resources and services available to patients and families, as well as education about patient rights and responsibilities.

How can I submit a concern, complaint or issue?
